Queen Letizia Pays Tribute to Balearic Fashion

Queen Letizia Pays Tribute to Balearic Fashion – Her impeccable style crosses borders, and many closely follow each of the trends that Letizia Ortiz wears in each of the acts and events she attends, and Mallorca was not going to be less. The queen wanted to pay tribute to Balearic fashion by wearing various designs by creators from the island. Handmade style, made to measure, with natural fabrics has become an ode to “know-how” and a nice gesture towards the work of these designers who have been conquering the public for years with their unique collections.

Queen Letizia ‘s looks in Mallorca

These days, we have seen her in different acts and visits wearing different outfits. All according to each of the events I attended. The orange and green floral dress with rubber bands at the top and a dropped-shoulder neckline caused a sensation.

Charo Ruiz’s dress

She wore this dress last Thursday at the Marivent Palace to receive the Balearic society, together with King Felipe VI and his mother-in-law, Queen Sofía. This dress, long to the ankles and with a front opening, is one of the designs that have made up the summer collection of the designer Charo Ruiz.

It is not the first time the queen has opted for this designer since she always winks at her collections wearing one of her designs. However, on this occasion, she combined her dress with beautiful wedges in an orange tone, tied to her ankle. Some espadrilles from Calzados Picón.

Pablo Erroz’s skirt

In another of Queen Letizia’s visits to the Majorcan island, she wore another design that captured many covers. This was the one we could see in the family inn during the holidays in Cartuja de Valldemosa. A place full of beautiful gardens, an occasion for which the queen opted for a skirt and a threaded top. The dress, made to measure with a handmade fabric in Mallorcan ikat thread, was a clear tribute to the island. The design is the work of designer Pablo Arroz. A skirt that combined the print of the green tongues on a white background.

What did Queen Letizia wear?

The Spanish monarch chose Charo Ruiz Ibiza’s ‘Long Ariana Dress.’ The dress was purchased new by Laetitia for €439, around £370.

The website description reads: “With a ruffled bodice and sweetheart neckline, our Ariana dress is a very flattering shape.
